Flowpoint and Efficient Routers are setup with Network Address Translation.
NAT allows many computers to access the Internet by masking behind
one IP address while protecting the local area network from possible
hostile intrusions via external networks. This serves as a basic firewall
while still allowing general Internet use. With the default configuration,
up to 254 hosts can be connected to the router.
Open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, etc.) and
type in the address bar: 192.168.254.254. Eventually a username
and password box will pop-up.

The default username is login and the default password is
admin. After you enter that information click OK.
This will load a webpage displaying the current settings of the router:

When this screen appears, click on the Easy Setup link. This
will load the page to begin the set-up:

For the WAN Protocol you will need to check Pont-to-Point Protocol
over Ethernet over RFC 1483 or just PPP. After
selecting this option click on the Next button. This will bring up
the PPPoE RFC 1483 setup screen:

On this screen you will enter the username and password provided
to you by the sales/tech support representitive. Once you enter the
username and password uncheck Bridging enabled and
check IP routing enabled. Also check
the NAT enabled box. Click Next.

Here you may enable or disable DHCP. DHCP allows the router
to assign IP addresses to computers on the LAN. Check the circle next
to Configure DNS manually and enter the following information
for the categories:
- Domain Name: accessus.net
- Primary DNS Server: 209.145.150.10
- Secondary DNS Server: 209.145.176.20
Leave the WINS Server entries blank unless you have WINS servers
located on your network. Click Next.

This screen displays the LAN (or Local) IP address. You may change
this to match current IP addresses on your network or leave it as-is
for simplicity. Click Save and Reboot to have the router restart
with the new configuration.
